My Story

It was literally a pain in the neck that brought me to yoga.  After practicing just a couple of times a week, I noticed the improved mobility in my neck and the rest of my body.  That was more than 15 years ago.  I continue to practice daily for the increased mobility and the strength as well as for the stress relief that yoga brings.  In each of my classes I offer students guidance to promote their own connection to the breath, body and mind. I hope that my students leave the mat with the energy and the intention they need to address the challenges that life brings.  When I am not on the mat, I am reading a good book, taking a walk in the park or planning a trip.  In July 2018 I completed the 200 RYT training at the Asheville Yoga Center under the direction of Stephanie Keach.  I am a member of Yoga Alliance.
