In April we're encouraged to celebrate National Library Week. Every year this week "highlights the valuable role libraries and library professionals play in transforming lives and strengthening communities." (ala.org) It's wonderful that libraries have many resources available to everyone. Your library has books, of course. But it also has artwork, binoculars, and even 3-D printers you can borrow. The list of available materials is amazing.
When I'm traveling, I love visiting the local library. It's a great way to become acquainted with the local history and artists. Almost every library I've visited has at least one art exhibit.

One of my favorite examples is the Eastman Reading Garden at the Cleveland Public Library on Superior Ave. It's a beautiful space to read and reflect.
Let yourself discover all the wonders of libraries near and far.
